Exploring Pernem's unique Heritage

Nandi is present outside the SHIVA temple in HINDU temples but there is no Shiva temple here still these idol present  and people worship it, it is carved on the rock and almost 200 years old

Canoe is used by toddy tappers to bring coconut From Maharashtra i.e. Kauthani village on the other side of the shore . Olden times canoe is used by people to go Maharashtra , These is a known place for movie shooting and  Pernem Sarajanik Ganesh Idol is also immersed here , DHOOM 2 movie a very first shot is taken here .

SARMAL village is a very cool as it is full of orchard and plantation crops ,year- round spring is flowing in the village which is near the Mauli temple , these is old idol of Goddess located near the temple its at least 500 years old as said by villagers all the villagers rituals are performed after praying to the goddess..

Aarambol beach offer different scenic sites to the tourist one site is of rocky sedimentary rocks which covers almost half the shore ,different types of micro flora and fauna are residing in the rocks and a natures beauty of carved architecture is observed on rocks. 

Mandrem beach view from hill opposite to the Beach, hill is full of wild flowers in the monsoon  and diversity of pollinating bees and butterflies are seen , Casurina trees lined up on the border of the beach  and a Garden  with colorful flowers and variety of plants  species is best place to relieve stress in the natures beauty.
